The Hill Thrift Shop is a non profit organization established for the purpose of proving an outlet for the sale of privately own items no longer wanted or needed. All items are consigned or donated by individuals. Proceeds from the sale of consigned items, minus a fee, go to the consignor.  All other proceeds, less operating expenses, are used for charitable and educational purposes.

Back in 1951 (in a single room of building 230) the Hill Thrift Shop opened its doors for the first time. As the business grew and the building was needed for a bank, the shop moved across the parking lot to an old supply building. It remained there until the summer of 1968 when the Gerrity Memorial Library was opened. The Thrift shop then moved into the old library in building 336. In 1980 the shop relocated to building 803 where they shared the space with Family Support and the Class Six. On June 18th 1981 the Hill Thrift Shop became a Non-Profit Organization. In 2008 the Hill Shop moved to building 830 in Bay E and stayed there until December 2014. The store reopened January 2015 in building 841, and we have been there since.
